On Monday, November 22, ‘La Rotativa’ of Las Provincias hosted the first day of gastronomic talks, ‘Looking at the Stars,’ as a prelude to the Michelin Guide Spain & Portugal 2022 Gala, which will be held on December 14 at the Auditorio de les Arts in Valencia.
Agua de Benassal is the official water for this initiative, which began with a talk between chef Quique Dacosta and Mónica Rius, from the Michelin Guide. This was followed by a panel discussion, ‘Valencian Gastronomy and its Impact on Tourism,’ with representatives from institutions and media. The session concluded with a very interesting round table on ‘The Future of Valencian Cuisine,’ featuring the following speakers: María José Martínez (Restaurante Lienzo), Roseta Félix (Fraula Restaurante), and Carito Loruenço (Fierro), moderated by chef and À Punt presenter, Lluis Penyafort Raga.
