To mark International Breast Cancer Day on Sunday, October 17, the Flor de Vida Foundation and the Official College of Nurses of Castellón organized, for the seventh year, the Castellón Solidarity March against breast cancer “A walk for life”. Agua de Benassal collaborated, once again, with this event which raised 25,000 euros for research in the fight against this disease.
The march concluded at Ribalta Park, where the organization presented two checks for 12,500 euros each. The first was awarded to the Incliva Institute of Valencia, dedicated to the study of breast cancer in young women. The second went to the Care and Health research group at Universitat Jaume I, for the study “Influence of a planned and supervised physical exercise program on the quality of life in breast cancer patients undergoing active oncological treatment.”
