We preserve the health of the spring
Our project is committed to environmental conservation; therefore, we implement a code of good practices both in the production process and through the conservation of our rural environment.
Our environmental protection policy helps preserve the natural area.
In the production process, both in the extraction and bottling phases, we implement a policy of good practices in recycling, reuse, and energy optimisation. In this way, we are able to control the impact on the environment.
In addition, as a measure for protecting the natural area surrounding the Fuente en Segures Spring, an environmental safety perimeter has been established with the aim of preventing seepage resulting from livestock, agricultural, and industrial activities. In this way, contamination and/or seepage of substances that could alter the composition of the water—and therefore its properties—is avoided. This safety perimeter, which covers a 1 km radius, contributes to preserving the spring and the natural area around it.
In addition, the exploitation of the spring is protected and limited to a maximum production of 10 million litres per year, ensuring sustainable production of this natural resource.
