Social Commitment

We carry out social awareness tasks through collaborations with associations dedicated to funding or disseminating information about specific health problems. We currently collaborate on different projects such as:

• Alcer Castalia: A provincial non-profit association, declared of Public Utility, which since 1981 has been working to improve the quality of life for people with kidney disease and their families. For Agua de Benassal, this is a special sponsorship as it is an association that supports and researches kidney diseases, given that Agua de Benassal is indicated for relieving certain kidney stones. It is a source of pride for our company to join forces with Alcer Castalia to improve the health of kidney patients.
• El tren solidari: The non-profit organization, El Tren Solidari, was founded in 2012 by volunteers and members of the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya company, with the aim of carrying out social activities and movements to obtain funding for the study and subsequent cure of rare childhood diseases. Agua de Benassal has been collaborating with this cause year after year for more than 5 years.
• Von Hippel-Lindau Disease: Agua de Benassal collaborates with the charity golf tournament held annually at the Club de Golf Escorpión in Bétera, where proceeds are dedicated to research into this rare disease.
• Charity Walks: Through our participation in charity walks organized by various charitable entities, we contribute to fundraising and promotion:
  • AECC Benassal Charity Walk against Cancer
  • AECC Carlet Popular Charity Walk
  • AFDEM Charity Walk (Association of Relatives for the Rights of the Mentally Ill)
  • Le Cadó Foundation: An association against breast cancer that focuses its efforts on funding breast cancer research, financing various research projects at INCLIVA and the Provincial Hospital of Castelló.
